BASE
-2 1/2 Cup Almonds
-6 Pitted Medjool Dates
-1/4 Cup Melted Coconut Oil
-Pinch Sea Salt
CARAMEL FILLING
-12 Pitted Medjool Dates
-1/3 Cup Almond Butter
-1/4 Cup Unflavoured Marine Collagen + Co-Factors (you could use Coconut too if you like added sweetness!)
-1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
-Pinch Sea Salt
CHOCOLATE TOPPING
-1/2 Cup of Melted Chocolate Chips
-1 Tbsp of Coconut Oil
Directions:
1) Start by combining the ingredients for the base in a food processor and mix well. Place the mixture in an even layer in a square baking dish with parchment paper and freeze for 30 minutes.
2) Place the ingredients for the caramel layer in the food processor and process until the dates become a paste. Add the caramel layer on top of the base.
3) Lastly, melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil and pour it on top of the caramel layer. Freeze for another 30 minutes.
